High performance on gravel and trails: The TACTICA KIESKÄFER T5 bib shorts, which replace the GTC C2 model, are lighter, more breathable, and offer greater compression. Key new features include the Type.911 fabric and stabilizing rollBar bib straps, adapted from the Racing Series, giving this all-terrain model the high performance characteristic of designs for high-intensity on- and off-road riding. Larger thigh pockets allow for more storage of food and essentials, as well as easy access to them. The T5 generation of this model also includes an updated chamois: this features more cushioning foam that reduces vibrations and continuous impacts on gravel roads and trails. Pair these bib shorts with pieces from the TACTICA T5 layering systems, and add the TACTICA protective vest and STEINADLER protective jacket to protect yourself from the elements. These all-terrain bib shorts, a durable, high-performance design for both racing and cycle touring, are updated with integrated pockets, a more compressive fabric, and a streamlined cut that reduces weight. FEATURED FABRICS: The Type.911 warp-knit fabric, a very soft and abrasion-resistant material, provides stabilizing compression and features a deeper black color than the previous model. It is also water-repellent and quick-drying, preventing moisture from adding weight to the bib shorts, and features odorControl and UPF 50+ properties. The pockets are constructed with warp-knit K-Net panels, a breathable mesh with good support that securely wraps and stabilizes the contents.
